About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To stay on just the fair side of homeless for as long as possible.

ABOUT ME

Friends would say I'm loyal and outgoing. Maybe too much at times for the timid/ easy to embarrass. I like to read and do not very much enjoy getting the shit slapped out of me. (who does?)
They might say I've done a bit of solo travel. Especially via bicycle and with my (man's) best friend. -back when- There is likely more, but I'll have to consult with them and report back after. (as of DEC 2012-if there is an "after")

PHILOSOPHY

Retain some sincerity with humor and, for all the serious times...save others from judgement and uncertainty.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've stayed at a couple couchsurfers places. I've been out with others and some I didn't know through the site but later learned we shared common interests and had a giving and open mindset toward travel and helping others save on accommodations/ seeing the local side to areas.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In and out of my home country. Solo and as a couple and also with a friend. I've stayed only rarely (with this site) but it has been really nice. When I can and it works out for both parties, I host.

Interests

A great amount of my high times are outdoors. Cycling. On my old BMW touring or pedaling around the countryside- either way.
I drink occasionally.
Activities are good.
Friends are better.
Drinking while active with friends is the best.
Animals, family, reading and soaking up information. And of course, travel. Journeys and destinations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Weather and animals usually would be what I consider noteworthy. Like really neat cloud formations over White Sands, NM.
-Some video of elephants crossing a river. All in line with trunks 'holding' tails. The great part was when a young one would not go in the water and the entire group gathered back on the side of the young'n and went elsewhere. (this did not surprise me, as I have high expectations for animals and their empathy, but it was memorable and telling.)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Germany, Gibraltar, Ireland, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands Antilles, Panama, Poland, Puerto Rico, Saint Lucia, Slovakia, Spain, United Kingdom, United States
