About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am a musician and aspiring mycologist, currently studying a Bachelor of Science with the aim of working with fungi to regenerate soils and forests.

ABOUT ME

I am a curious and joyous human, and you'll most likely find me foraging in a forest somewhere, playing music, drinking coffee in a rare moment of stillness or working in the garden.

I spent a few years as a traveling busker and adventurer of sorts, now I am more focused on learning permaculture, gaining new skills and expanding my musical horizons. I love meeting people to share all these things - a skill, a conversation, a coffee, a strange opportunity or a spontaneous dance!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have lived in several share houses in Australia and other countries where we have hosted many lovely people. I really love to build on the big web of connected travelers all around the world by couchsurfing and also inviting others to stay at my home. I think it is wonderful and enriching to meet with people from all over the world and share stories, music, adventures, skills, or a walk in the forest!

Music, Movies, and Books

Many types of music, currently a mix of Vicente Amigo, Inti Illimani, Baden Powell, Chancha Via Circuito, Django Reinhardt, Flook, Martin Hayes.... A wondrous mix!
I devour books... I would love to hear your recommendations!
Mine are Bruce Pascoe's Dark Emu, Terra Preta, anything at all by Paul Stamets and books on other random things like regenerative farming, fungi, soil, fractals, alternative lifestyles, yoga, etc etc etc

Teach, Learn, Share

I can take you on a foraging trip, share music with you, go dumpster-diving with you, build and make stuff, cook, do yoga, crochet, draw and paint, provide language help.... whatever!
