ABOUT ME

After graduation I accepted a job offer in Atlanta, Georgia as a Project Engineer. I found myself striving for more career growth. I just recently accepted a job with an international engineering company as a Field Service Engineer where I will have the opportunity to work on multiple facets of engineering at a global level. After discovering that the position begins in mid June, I decided to join two good buddies of mine on a backpacking trip starting in Berlin. I will be with them from March 27-May 9 before venturing off on my own.

I love to have fun and experience new cultures. I grew up playing soccer (futbol) and am always the type of person that gets along with everybody! I have some great experiences to share and look forward to learning others.

I am always open to trying to new things. I am an outdoors enthusiast and have been able to experience some really neat places with past employer. This will be my first time backpacking, but am looking forward to living with whats in my backpack while experiencing all the great things the world has to offer.

I love to sight see and to take neat photographs of places that one normally does not see. I am very thankful for this opportunity and ready to experience the trip of a lifetime!

PHILOSOPHY

Sometimes people may not mean to treat you the way they do. Sometimes we do not know why a stranger or someone we know acts the way they do. Sometimes its because of a life experience. Treat others as you would like to be treated. I am a true believer in karma.

I am young, single, and about to start a great career. Now is the perfect time to experience the world and truly discover who I am.

I have couchsurfed in the USA, Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia, Turkey, and Hungry. I have loved every experience and the new friends I have made.

I am not a big reader. The book has to really capture my attention in the first few pages. If it does, I am hooked. Some of my favorites are: The Old Man and the Sea, Tuesday's With Morrie, and The Giver.

I have a lot of favorite movies and am always open for any action-filled, comedy, and an occasional chick flick if it's going to be funny. Also, anything with Adam Sandler, Will Ferrel, and Mark Wahlberg I am sold.

My favorite shows are Sons of Anarchy, Dexter, Revenge, and the Walking Dead. I also like CSI, Law & Order, and other shows where you can really pick up whenever and are not "lost."

I really enjoy listening to just about everything. As long as it sounds good, I am addicted. I am always open for a live concert or band at a local bar.

One memorable experience was through my work. I was in the western part of the United States for 10 days and went all through Utah, Nevada, Idaho, and Washington. Although I was "working" it was more like a cool road trip. I have been all over North America and to a stack of countries as close as the Bahamas and as far away as Israel. Kayaking down the Jordan River, climbing Mount Masada to watch the sunrise, and floating in the Dead Sea were very memorable. I have many more stories to share and look forward to hearing about others.

I am really good at futbol (soccer). I could help someone develop the necessary skills or jump into a match if an extra player is needed. I have played since I was 4 years old. I am also an avid fisherman. Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime! I also went to school for Civil Engineering. I am very familiar with science and math related studies. As a fluent english speaker, I would love to teach the language to someone while I learn their native language.
