About Me

Well, It's difficult to describe yourself. I was born and raised in São Paulo until the age of 15, when my family and I moved to Blumenau, in southern Brazil, where I'm still living. After graduating in Law, I decided to go live, study and work abroad for a year. I lived in Dublin (Ireland) and Porto (Portugal) between March of 2012 and February 2013. I can say without any doubts that this experience of living abroad was the best of my life. I've became more responsible and mature as a person and professional, and I had the opportunity to get to know and start friendship with people from many nationalities. I'm a friendly and charismatic brazilian guy. My friends say that I'm a funny and nice person to hang out and make party. I think life is to be lived the best and most enjoyable way as possible. Learning, helping, sharing, making people smile and don't postponing things that we can do today!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have found the Couch Surfing network in 2012 through a friend of mine who had been using the website for over one year. I think this is a very useful way for travelers to meet people, start new friendships and share different cultures.

I still don't have any experiences hosting people, but it would be great to do it!

I've had several experiences on Couchsurfing as a guest/surfer. They are listed below:

- Madrid, Spain (2012)
- Paris, France (2012)
- Helsinki, Finland (2012)
- Tampere, Finland (2012)
- Barcelona, Spain (2012)
- Santiago, Chile (2016)

Interests

I have many things I enjoy doing in my spare time, such as: running, swimming, cycling, playing table tennis and tennis, listening to music, watching good movies and reality shows, learning about other cultures and foreign languages, enjoying winter and summer, photography, hanging out with friends to have a chat and fun, and so on...

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: I listen to almost everything that pleases my ears. I'm a big fan of Symphonic Heavy Metal, however, I can listen to Pop and Electronic music as well.

MOVIES: I like watching good comedies that make me laugh hard, thrillers, epic movies, animation.

BOOKS: Any books about travelling and foreing cultures are great!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Finland, I had the opportunity to try a public finnish sauna. After 15-20 minutes inside of it, we went outside (the temperature was negative at that time) and jumped into a very cold lake. After that, we went back running into the sauna! Surely it was a freezing and, at the same time, great memorable experience!

In late 2015, when I went to Colombia, I met an american couple from New York and some lovely bosnian girls from Chicago. Before meeting them, I've already planned to spend two weeks in the USA (some days in Chicago and some days in New York City) after leaving Colombia. Two weeks later, I went to the USA, and I had the chance to meet again the american couple in New York City and one of the bosnian girls in Chicago! It was great! I couldn't imagine it would be possible to meet the same people in two different countries in a row.

In late 2016, when I was visiting Santiago, I had a memorable experience going to see the amazing Embalse El Yeso. Me, a brazilian and a peruvian friend decided to get there using public transportantion and hitchhiking. Surely this is one of the most unforgettable adventures of my life.
