Hi!! I'm a digital nomad who loves meeting locals and learning about cultures. Museums are my safe space. I love coffee, I read a lot of autobiographies, I'm full of useless knowledge and as a side business I'm organizing retreats, because I'm just a travel obsessed A type lol (www.atesretreats.com if curious!). I am an extrovert but sometimes if I get tired I kinda run out of social energy and need my own space.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love networking and I love meeting locals - there's always some hidden gem, some amazing story they have to tell and I've made some wonderful friendships along the way. I used to have a CS account back in the day when it was free, but I'm back with a brand new one (which is why I've no references YET)! As someone who travels a lot, accommodation can get a little expensive, so I'm always grateful if I can crash at someone's place.

My fave book series ever is Philippa Gregory's Plantagenet / Tudor Novels (Medieval England history is MY thing). I also love autobiographies - currently reading Paris Hilton's Memoir and it's SO GOOD.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got a remote job that allowed me to travel. So far I got paid trips to Hawaii, around the US, around Mexico, Bali, Tenerife etc.
