I'm on Couchsurfing because I love meeting new people who are excited about the cities they call home. I love to travel and the best way to see a city is through the eyes of someone who knows and loves it.

In October of 2010, I got in my dad's red pickup and drove to New York City alone to play a flute masterclass with my mentor, Robert Dick. That was one of those moments in which I proved to myself that I am capable of doing anything I set my mind to.

Prior to that, I'd say the moment that left me most awestruck was performing in St. Paul's Cathedral with the Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony the summer after I graduated high school.
