I love the outdoors and spend as much time as possible hiking, biking, climbing or just enjoying the scenery. I grew up in Colorado and spent a lot of my childhood exploring our vast public lands. I graduated from High School in 2014 and moved to Durango, Colorado to attend Fort Lewis College. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Geology in 2018. I then moved to Northern Idaho and worked in the silver mining industry for almost 2 years. I then moved to Elko, Nevada and traveled all around the state managing exploration programs for gold, silver and copper.
Since January 2023, I have traveled most of the Western and Mid-Western United States with my beautiful girlfriend. We have lived out of a 5 foot X 10 foot trailer for almost a year and LOVE traveling a meeting new people all over the country. We are now excited to expand our travels overseas and plan to begin our travels in 2024 starting in New Zeland, then Southeast Asia, then Japan. We have very loose plans and are excited to meet new people and experience new cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since we are on a very limited budget, typical accommodations such as hotels and hostels will be a luxury for us. Plus, we really want to meet locals and learn about regional cultures and languages through immersion. I cant think of a better way to do that than staying with people along our trip.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have been a Reggae music fanatic since I was introduced at a very young age. I have sense grown to love early 1960's Jamaican Ska, Rocksteady, and Reggae. I have learned a lot about the history of Reggae/Ska and love to talk about and dance to the music with anyone who is interested :).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have traveled around the Western United states exploring for precious metals such as Gold, Silver and Copper. I love Geology and love talking about it.

I am a proficient Juggler and would love to spread the joy of juggling. It is a very fun pass-time and keeps your mind and body sharp! I am also very interested in learning about the local geology wherever I go and would love to share my insights and experiences with anyone who will listen.

I love to cook and share food with new people. I would love to learn new recipes and dishes from local people and would be excited to share a kitchen with anyone willing to teach me a new dish! I can also share my love for music, rocks, and the outdoors.
