Hey there! I'm Atharva, but you can call me Atha. Describing oneself in a few sentences is like trying to catch the ocean in a jar, but here's a little splash about me!

Born in India, raised in France, and currently studying in Switzerland, I like to think of myself as a global citizen. I live for the thrill of diving down to 30 meters, where I can swim with the fish and bask in the underwater serenity. On the flip side, I hike up to intimidating mountain peaks, chasing the bird's-eye view and the rush of the climb.

I'm currently working on a project to bring electricity and water to a remote village in Africa. Bringing light to places that have been in the dark is my way of making a meaningful impact in the world, one that illuminates lives and hearts.

I see my life as a story I am writing, where each chapter has its own meaning, social encounters, and adventure. I'm always eager to meet fellow travelers who share my zest for exploring the world and making it a better place. Let's share stories, laughs, and maybe even a song or two!

I believe that the best way to truly experience a place is through the eyes and stories of those who call it home.

I love how Couchsurfing fosters a sense of global community, where strangers become friends and every host or guest adds a new chapter to our shared stories. For me, it's not just about finding a place to stay—it's about creating memories, sharing experiences, and learning from the diverse tapestry of human life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a very broad range of music, expanding from reggae music to instrumentals, RnB to rap, and electro-chill to house. I especially love just chilling at a nice spot, especially at sunset or sunrise, playing some chill, music ... and just enjoying such precious moments.

Favourite Music : Rap, RnB, Reggae, Deep House, Instrumentals ... the list is long. I'd say a song I've been quite appreciating lately is Jungle by Tash Sultana.
Favourite book : Can't Hurt Me by David Goggins

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Diving in Raja Ampat, Indonesia
- Being chased by a wild orang outan in Sumatra
- Hiking alone to the top of a volcano in Indonesia, and surrounded by wild boars in my tent at night
- Diving to see WW2 ships in the Philippines
- I hope this list keeps getting longer with time !
