ABOUT ME
I'm Harley. I like to think I'm a fairly functional human being. I've only just made this account recently so it's still pretty bare, I guess...
My job is asking people if they've tried turning it off and on again at an independant record label in Melbourne.
I love animals and I don't eat them, though I do still eat their unfertilised eggs.
I'm also pretty terrible at writing stuff about myself. You'll have to tell me what you think D:
P.S. In a fight between Superman and Goku I reckon Goku would win.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My family has hosted with Servas for a long time, which is a bit more formal, but is similar in its promotion of travel and good will.
A few mates of mine were hosting couchsurfers for a year not too long ago. It was a revolving door of surfers (I'm pretty sure overall the total guests numbered in the hundreds) and it was pretty awesome meeting all these interesting people from all over the world. I plan on hosting myself when I've got appropriate housing.
Interests
Eating, drinking staying up past my bed time, etc
I enjoy playing video games. I enjoy a drink or two.
I really, really love music. I like the sound of footsteps, particularly in crunchy snow.

Music, Movies, and Books
I mostly dig rock, however it's labelled, but as everyone tends to say, I listen to all kinds of different music and there's no way I can list them all here. Admittedly, most of what I listen to goes back to the late 60s-90s. My favourite music tends to be or have elements of progressive rock such as Porcupine Tree, Pink Floyd, Tool and Radiohead. I have a soft spot for some chug chug at times.
I'm pretty open minded about newer music, though, so please push some of your music on me.
As for books, I don't read as much as I feel I should. I'm a fan of the works of Joseph Conrad, Kurt Vonnegut, Stanislaw Lem and George Orwell to name a few authors.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Couchsurfing wants me to put something here. I guess I would say "Love".
