CURRENT MISSION

Sam and I are traveling through New Zealand until June 16th when we fly into Munich, Germany. While we have a general idea of where in Eastern and Western Europe we want to travel, we are open to any where that sounds fun and adventurous.

ABOUT ME

Athena: I've been known to make some pretty funny jokes and cook some amazing meals. I am passionate about design, food and traveling. I make new friends easily and like introducing people I think will get along. I also love animals and have a dog of my own at home. I am down for any kind of outdoor activity! I love climbing, hiking, fishing and camping. I do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as well.

Sam: I'm a software engineer that's working remotely from the United States. I enjoy traveling, adventure, reading and embracing foreign cultures. I also do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and rock climb. I love the outdoors and am often found hanging from trees.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are currently looking for places to couch surf since we are traveling until October. After that, we'd like to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I am new at this but have met many couch surfers in New Zealand. We meet for drinks ever Wednesday in Auckland and it's been a really fun time.

My friend Winona often hosts and introduced me to the last couch surfer that stayed with her and we really got along. I decided this would be a fun way to visit the countries in Europe that we plan on visiting.
