About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find a way to simplify life and get the most out of every day
ABOUT ME
*Preparing to move, so not currently accepting guests. However, I am available to meet up or refer you to cool places around town!
High school English teacher by week and gypsy traveler by summer/weekend. I'm a mom and have my kids most of the time. They are well behaved, though, I promise! Because of the kids, I will have to be pretty selective of who I host.
If you're interested in exploring the outdoors of the desert Southwest, I'm your girl. I do a lot of camping, hiking, backpacking, etc., so you're welcome to join me!
PHILOSOPHY
Love and tolerance
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet! However, my cousin and his wife met when she was a couchsurfer in Hawaii from Mexico. They're very happily married now!
Interests
Hiking, camping, reading, backpacking, snow sports, anything that has to do with nature! I rarely go to the Strip and am not a fan of clubbing. However, I'm up for showing people around or giving suggestions!

Music, Movies, and Books
I read and watch a lot of nonfiction. Netflix is my bff. I have a diverse taste in movies and music. I will watch just about any documentary and mindless comedy (hey, it's all about balance haha). I'm currently obsessed with Kings of Leon and Ray Lamontagne, but I listen to a little bit of everything.
As an English teacher, it would be impossible to choose a favorite book. I love Into the Wild and other nonfiction books about the outdoors, but I also read fiction on occasion. Sometimes it's a classic and other times it is chick lit.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've had so many amazing experiences, but these places top the list: Greece, Maui, Florence, Paris, Rome, London...
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm quiet and very easygoing.
