ABOUT ME

I love food-making it, eating it, smelling it, trying new ones. I never lived in an area that didn't have some sort of water (usually the ocean) and I don't think I ever could. One of the most depressing questions is 'what's the ocean like?' Breaks my heart every time. Other than that, I dig the environment and love nothing more than exploring the wilderness.

PHILOSOPHY

When walking through a door, always look back to see if there is someone coming up behind. If so, smile and hold the door open for them.

Hearing new music, learning new things, teaching others new things, reading something funny, exploring, not using a map nor instructions unless I'm completely failing, traveling, meeting the people who grow my food, sustainability. I also really like candy.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Research project in the Galapagos. To sit there, conducting transect surveys, and have a giant tortoise mosey by is a surreal feeling. To then use our information to educate locals on how to preserve this unique environment was one of the best things of my life.
