Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Wishing to meet, be hosted, host and why not, make strong friendships with people that like to travel the world and like to share their memories, experiences, captured images, delcicious cooking recipes, traditions and cultures. Couchsurfing, can be described from me, as a place where i can broaden my horizons upon humanity, hospitality and learning few new or hidden aspects of myself as Athena.
TIP: As a Greek, i advice when you try to adapt to Greek values and mentality via visiting and staying in this country, don't be so serious, sensitive and strict with locals. It is in our culture to be extremely warm and polite, talkative & curious, behave like "party-animals" and making jokes for laughing. So, none wants to offend, teach, punish or bullying you, PLEASE KEEP CALM AND RELAX we are trying to become your friends!
So, BE ORIGINAL, BE YOU, BE AN INSPIRATION AND BE ALWAYS THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN THIS WORLD.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite music:
I can say that my favourite kind of music is totally Greek music but i like as well rock, R'n'B, dupstep, classic, Opera, Modern, e.t.c and music from where i come from (Russian, Ukrainian, Arabic).
My favourite arabic song is Fadl Shaker- Ma'thar Fea (فضل شاكر - ماثر فيى), which is available on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZP1sp5vzBik and if you choose to hear it, you can partially become familiar with the sensitive part of myself and the way i grew up by an significatly smart, sensitive and charming syrian father. I remember him singing it and trying to teach me the words, a memory that stigmatizes me in good way till nowadays.
My favourite movies:
It's a russian movie which you can search it with your country's subtitles (Movie title: Moscow does not believe in tears) or watch it on youtube by clicking on this link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0sGaLjJoDI ) which has english subtitles and it is completely available as it is a movie of 80's. If you watch it, you can partially become familiar with my character and the way i grew up by an incredibly strong, beautiful and tender-hearted ukrainian mother.
My favourite book:
I'm totally 100% impressed with the book called Precious by Sapphire. You just have to read it and i think you can feel in some way the pain this young girl felt.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've managed to graduate and become a midwife. If you're asking me, I can say it's a blessing.
