About Me
Hi everyone! My name is Athira.
Travelling is my passion. But now I'm currently a medical student so sadly, I don't really have enough time to travel :( I haven't really use Couchsurfing since I always travel with my family and they didn't think it's a good idea for all of us to stay in someone's house.. but I'd really love to do it when I travel solo!
I also love sending postcards and letters as I think it's something wonderful to even think that one person on the other side of the world, actually takes time to think about you and put an effort to actually write you something and send it through mails!
I actually live in Jakarta, but I'm now staying in my own student dorm room in Bandung, West Java, so I can only accept 1 female guest at the moment.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm SO overwhelmed about the idea of Couchsurfing, I think it's a really wonderful way to meet new people and get to know their culture better. Moreover, I LOVE meeting new people! But right now, my university is also outside the city I've lived in, and I stay in a dormitory, so I can't host anyone at the moment.. well, or maybe in the next 5 years. But I'd really love to meet anyone! Maybe I didn't master the knowledge of tourism spots but I'll do the best that I can! :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I love listening to acoustic, indie songs. I love listening to 8tracks or Spotify playlist under the tags: calming, slow, acoustic, sleep, indie, studying. And no matter what people think, I think Taylor Swift made really good, catchy, wonderful musics. You should also check out indie underrated singer named Joe Brooks, he made really good songs.
I love spoken word poetry SO much! Especially from a poet named Sarah Kay. I listen to spoken word poetry almost every day in my free time. I have no idea how a bunch of words arranges together can make such a wonderful art.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook some Indonesian foods, and I love to talk about anything! :)
