Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been hosted a few times, but never hosted anyone - though I would really like to! I'm living in the second biggest city in Denmark, which is Aarhus. A really lovely medium-sized city. I haven't been travelling much lately, therefore am I not as active on cs as I wish to be. When I'm not sailing the seas of Greenland, I'm home most of the time, meaning theres a great chance my couch are available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have had the account for several years by now but, as written, I have not been active.

Interests

My biggest interest are bikes - personally I have a Honda VFR750 and a Honda Rebel 250. In the summer, when I'm not sailing the navy vessels, I'm spending as many hours as possible on riding, repairing, washing and tweaking my bikes - but I do other things ;-)
I play the piano, and have done it almost all my life. I also sing. In general I'm a bit of a music nerd. Next to my bed I have a big LP collection, which is very precious to me. I'm into jazz 'classicos' as Oscar Peterson, Coltrane, Brubeck, got all of Dire Strait's publications (except one rare live recording), got some 70's-80's rock, some nice Danish music and a lot of other nice stuff - theres something for almost all souls :-)

Books: I'm completely sold to norwegian Jo Nesbø, but I'm really not a big reader.

Movies(love good movies!!): the french movie series "Taxi" - they are too cool!
The Mangler, Bronson, The Machinist, the Swedish and original films in the "The girl with the dragon tattoo" series, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Leon the professional, and so ooooon.

What I Can Share with Hosts

What I can share? Hell, I'm a quite generous dude. I often use evenings and nights in my kitchen to mix a lot of cocktails to find new ways of thinking, when working as a bartender. But I always end up quite buzzed with my roomie - not capable of holding a grip of the bottles. When other friends are over, I make them drunk too.

I love to make real Danish food - I'm not shy to give away some, to travellers from across the world.

As long as I get something - just something - in return, were happy everyone :-)
