About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Connecting the dots to make a world better place :)

ABOUT ME

The regular head in the clouds guy, always up for trying new things and meet new people.
I've been reported to be friendly and sometimes funny. There's no official confirmation until you meet me :)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe life is a gift. At the end of my life, when someone would ask me how did I like my gift, I should be able to lighten up and say out loud "It was awesome and I enjoyed every second of it!"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to this, but am willing to try it out and meet new people, either by visiting or being visited. It's supposed to be both useful and fun, so why not?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No experience so far. I've heard of it before, but was skeptical until I met an active user from Switzerland in a train back home and he convinced me to give it a try.

Interests

I can talk about a lot of interesting stuff, but I enjoy the most is programming, traveling, street dancing, hiking, sports (running, swimming, tennis, ping-pong, basketball), healthy lifestyle, good movies, good music, astronomy, self development, history of writing (yup!) and... all the other things I don't remember right now :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: The Rock, Scent of a Woman, Avatar, Armageddon and a lot more (adventure, SF, action, comedy).
Music: Yanni, Vangelis, Enigma, but really anything that sounds good to my ears, regardless of genre
Books: Stephen Covey - The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, Timothy Ferriss - The 4 Hour Workweek :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the most amazing thing in my professional life so far was winning the 1st place at an international IT competition. The most awesome thing I've seen would have to be Niagara Falls, which I visited by boat whilst a little storm was happening and everything felt like the beginning of Titanic's last moments :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to learn more about how to make the CS experience safe and enjoyable at the same time. How can you prevent bad things from happening, even if you act in good spirit.
