Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I love to travel, meet new people, and learn as much as I can about cultures different from my own.
ABOUT ME
I've been living in West Africa for 15 months now working as a Health Educator for the Peace Corps. I'm currently living in a two room mud hut just outside of Segou that you are welcome stay at. I unfortunately don't have a couch but I do have an extra mosquito net and sleeping pad anyone is welcome to use. Dioro is a beautiful village located on the Niger River.
PHILOSOPHY
"Visitors have eyes, but they don't see" It's hard to say you've been somewhere if you've only surrounded yourself with things that are familiar to you. I prefer to travel with someone who has been living in the area I'm visiting. Locals are the only ones who know what makes their city beautiful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A three day hiking trip in Dogon Country, Mali. Backpacked through the cliffs and took a shower in a three tier waterfall the day of my 27th birthday. Breathtaking views and met a lot of wonderful people who lived in the villages along the cliff line.
