About Me

ABOUT ME

Anna is an outgoing and friendly adventurer- she is full of energy, and it's guaranteed she will strike up a conversation with you. And have a lot to say about it! She is an engaging storyteller, who always seems to fill a room with laughter. Anna is an avid and excellent baker and chef; not only does she have her time trusted recipes, but she is always onto a new recipe in the kitchen. Read if you have a sweet tooth, she is your girl! Summertime, chances are you'll find her out on the water, sailing.

Interests

As much as I love telling my own stories, I am always interested to hear about other people's experiences and adventures. I've grown up in a family of out-going, highly outspoken people and dinner conversations are rarely dull or without anecdotal evidence. I love that. I love sitting down with some amazing food and hearing about the amazing things that people have done with their lives -- and how those experiences have changed the way they think about the world around them. Because learning about how others perceive the world around them is what makes my world more interesting and diverse.

With these things in mind, I spend a lot of my time talking. But I also like to get out and about. I will go anywhere for an amazing meal and I am, somewhat randomly, very passionate about architecture. I'm also a big fan of museums; it's the field I hope to work in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Several years ago I spent about a week sailing on a small, 30 foot boat with my father and older brother. As is somewhat typical of my father's luck, we sailed into Nantucket harbor on the edge of a hurricane. We were the only boat in the bay except for, as we were entering the harbor, the small tourist tour boat that was heading out. I will never forget the expressions on their faces as they watched us, soaking wet and exhausted, sail past them.
