About Me

I born and raised in Ankara, Turkey. I live in Istanbul. I have moved to there in 2011. I spent some time in Germany while visiting Technical University of Munich in 2015.

I study computer science and electrical electronics engineering. When I am not talking about or actually doing fancy engineering stuff, I either hang out and drink with my mates or draw small, funny cartoons. I also watch a lot of movies, American and British TV series. I sometimes (especially when I need money) do web and graphic design jobs as a freelance part-time job.

I consider myself as a friendly, talkative and reasonable person. I ask people to let me know when I am not so. I try to keep my expectations as minimum as possible and not to assume things about people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on here because I want to get to know new people from different places and cultures. I like to explore the world not as a tourist, as a traveller; staying on hostels or visiting only some landmarks doesn't make me satisfied. I want to learn how is the life in those places from someone volunteer to tell me and show me. I also try to give a similar experience to whom I host in my couch!

Munich:
During my stay in Germany, I want to travel and meet people as much as I can. I believe Couchsurfing is one of the best ways to accomplish that goal. I would really like to host people in Munich; I am staying at a flatshare (WG in German) and I can always offer a 'couch' to visitors of Munich. Nevertheless, I am planning to return to Istanbul, Turkey in September, until then you are all welcome!

Istanbul:
Since I am living in a dorm in Istanbul, I unfortunately cannot offer a couch. I don't travel much too, so I don't often need a couch as well. Nevertheless, I like meeting new people and try to get to know at least a part of them. I can give you travel advices about Istanbul, or Ankara, or any other place in Turkey. I may even offer my company if you'd like to!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love helping people with their daily jobs! I can also say that I am very skilled and experienced with housework. Moreover, due to my studies, I am also good at technological stuff. Fixing things and so (Of course up to a degree!).

I am also a moderately good painter, designer and sketch artist! I have started to cover an entire of wall of my room with some cartoons and sketches for each of my good and bad memories. I still try to add some when I got time. Maybe you can be in one of them in future!

Well... Lastly, I am not much of a sleeper! I like sleeping but most of the time I'd rather stay awake as much as possible. I spent couple of months of my life by just sleeping on every other day. I always prefer to experience the night with some company and a nice conversation as well as a warm cup of coffee.
