Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I personally feel surfing is the most authentic way to meet people while travelling. What better way to make friends and be engrossed in the trip and environment than to stay with a local who has graciously opened their home to you. Much more personal and lasting of an experience than staying at a hostel. Each surfer you meet has their own stories to share and I can't say no to a good story.
