About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live my life in a way that I wont regret when I get old
ABOUT ME
I am a so excited to be alive, and so grateful to be here on earth at this time. I am a fairly quiet person - at least I am not a party animal and do not smoke or drink because it does not suit me. I dont have any objection to other people enjoying a smoke or drink. I love a good conversation and enjoy a lively debate, and find it fun to play Devils Advocate.
I try to put as much into life as I can, and to get as much out of it as possible too.
PHILOSOPHY
I am a so excited to be alive, and so grateful to be here on earth at this time. It would be nice to leave the world a better place for having passed through it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love the idea. I have done both hosting and surfing, and also enjoyed meeting up with people for coffee.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Unfortunately I ive in a place that not so many people come to - but they should! Worcestershire is wonderful.
But I have still found a few people to host, and when I am travelling it is a big pleasure to stay with other CSers or to meet up with them for a chat. I tend to be very spontaneous and dont like planning schedules much, and this makes it hard sometimes to find people able to host me at short notice - but thanks to all those who can!
Interests
I love variety in what I do. I enjoy working really hard at the things I believe in, but it is important to me to get a good work/life balance. I work long hours at home and then take very long breaks to go travelling. I love doing cycle touring, and have travelled all over the world on two wheels as well as doing a lot of conventional backpacking. I love seeing new things, meeting new people, understanding how society operates in so many different ways around the world. Other interests include architecture, mountain walking, canoeing, woodwork, stained glass, trees, environmental issues, politics, books, art, science, languages, and finding new things that I did not know I was interested in...
