About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To try every cuisine in the world.
ABOUT ME
I teach cooking in grades 7-12 at a school near Boston, primarily to "high-risk" (very challenging) students; it is one of the best jobs I can imagine. I grew up in Montana, and eventually came to Boston for graduate school, where I have been since. After my graduate program in education, I decided to take a break from school and work in a restaurant. This inspired me to go to culinary school, and upon graduating I was not sure whether I would prefer to cook or prefer to teach. The lucky opportunity arose for me to do both.
I love to travel; I have studied abroad in Prague, and spent summers studying in China and Rome. I will travel any chance I get. And since as I teacher I have summers off, that leaves lots of great opportunities. I am passionate about new foods and new cultures, and would love to meet people while I travel who can introduce me to both.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent 3 months backpacking through Italy, Greece, Egypt, and Turkey during college. Everything was completely spontaneous, there was no plan as I made my way from city to city. Many amazing moments and great people met during that summer.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to share my knowledge about cooking, and I would love to learn about new cuisines, ingredients, recipes and maybe even cooking techniques.
