I am a human being practicing organic farming and "small living". I am a follower of the Good Lord, a committed vegetarian, and an ecologist. Politically I am an anarchist with egalitarian leanings. I have a partner of eight years and am an animal lover, book worm and am committed to permaculture design.

I love film, lots of music, hiking and rock hounding among many other pursuits. Nothing makes me happier than hugging dogs.

I am visiting my mother who is recuperating from heart surgery and would love to have a place to rest my weary head on my journey back to the midwest. We don't have much money but we are quiet, clean and respectful. How nice it would be to meet someone interesting, if only for a matter of hours. Perhaps we could one day return the hospitality?

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I once "saved" a cicada from certain death by an aggressive hornet who had carried said creature about 15' in the air. Witnessing this, I threw a small stone which hit one or both of them (I hope it was the aggressor) thereby dislodging the insects. Miraculously the hornet let go of its quarry and the cicada flew away. I was thunderstruck, but felt elated about saving the poor creature.
