About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Surviving my final semester at UNC's Poli Sci department, having a job to start when I'm done.
ABOUT ME
I'm in the Political Science Ph.D program at UNC Chapel Hill. I lived in Russia almost two years, teaching English, translating articles in English, trying to improve my Russian, and learning more about political attitudes there... and now I'm just hoping that experience will really come in handy after I get through my requirements.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Survived a Siberian winter, but that wasn't so amazing, as it was mostly indoors. More to the point, I lived and worked in Russia for a total of more than two and a half years, learned to speak Russian fluently, and got very savvy about the local customs, mores, and attitudes. Is that amazing? Maybe not, but it's probably my one achievement to date of which I'm most proud. I wish I could do this in every country.
