CURRENT MISSION

I am trying to get off of North America for awhile. It's a great continent, but I want to try another for a few days.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in the midwest of the US (Iowa) and moved north to Minnesota for work. I do animation/effects and am a musician so I'm a pretty big nerd for the arts but I can geek out on some frisbee or a good sports event also. I've spent my life within a 250 mile radius, so I want to see some places outside of my comfort zone.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never surfed before. A friend who has traveled extensively told me about it after I told her how much I wanted to go abroad but wasn't sure where to stay if going alone.
