ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Juneau, Alaska, I've spent the second half of my life in Oregon. My soul, however, belongs to the desert. I'm finally making my way home.!

PHILOSOPHY

I approach everything in life as a lesson worth learning. I strive to be honest, humble, strong and kind. I believe that sharing with and learning from others is a great way to become a better person and to contribute to the betterment of the world.

I hope to make positive connections as a surfer so I can offer my own couch when I am in a position to do so!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had the most wonderful experiences with couchsurfing... Truly humbling. I know now that the world is a much friendlier place than I imagined before I became part of this community. I look forward to the many adventures to come and the new friendships to be built.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have played piano for almost 15 years (I studied classical piano on scholarship) and I sing, play guitar and write my own songs. I have also written a sci-fi novella that I am in the process of editing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I swam in a spring of warm, carbonated mineral water in Turkey... the ground of the spring was covered in ancient marble columns and ruins and I was surrounded by Russian tourists! It was an incredible experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to teach yoga and music (piano, voice, composition). I also love to cook healthy meals for people. I have focused much over the years on my spiritual refinement and I am willing to aid in any way I am able concerning these issues.
