About Me

Hi. hi. hi. Born in the Philippines, raised in Los Angeles, and currently living in New York. I love to travel and meet new people. I enjoy traveling for the history, the culture and the FOOD. From balling out on a Michelin 12 course tasting menu to eating street food for every meal, I love to explore a country's culture through its food. I enjoy walking everywhere and you will always find me with my film camera. When I'm traveling, always down for whatever comes my way. Looking to meet other likeminded folx, carpe fucking diem

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Starting this "Shut Up and Go" thing inspired by one of my favorite youtube duos. I want a local experience when I go to see new places! Also, I find that I get the most out of travel when I do it alone and meet new people from different backgrounds and different walks of life .

Interests

I love going on long walks and seeing new cities and photographing them on my film camera or sketching them. I like going to museums and art galleries. I am obsessed with everything architecture and urban infrastructure. I am a BIG foodie. I love trying new, strange, and different foods. I LOVE coffee, dessert and seafood. I am very much into nature. I hike A LOT back home. I like hiking towards a destination, particularly a nice scenic view or a body of water. I'm in it for the experience and the burn.

My current travel hobbies are film photography, collecting postcards to send, and sketching. I enjoy enjoying scenery whether it is at the top of viewpoint or from the most ordinary cafe street corner. I enjoy feeling the regular pace of life wherever I travel to.

Teach, Learn, Share

TEACH
I can teach you a thing or two about typeface. I speak English and Tagalog fluently. Food is culture and I'd love to teach you about my third culture through food

LEARN
I'd love to learn about your travels. Nifty tips and tricks to stay on a budget.

SHARE
I love jam sessions. I can play the uke, guitar, or share my awesome harmonizing skills. I can share my kinda-developed cooking skills (I learned from my super awesome dad, who is coincidentally a retired chef).

What I Can Share with Hosts

My cleanliness. I love to cook and food is my love language. My skills as a ex-Bartender?
