About Me
My name is Atsuki. I am from Tokyo and I moved to Saredani village 3 years ago because I wish to raise my children in the nature of Japan's countryside.
Our village is in the valley between the mountains of Iyo town, tugged away from busy cities and enjoys the calmness offered by the nature. We don't have big supermarkets, chain restaurants, tourist attractions or bars. Instead, there are beautiful mountains, stars, river, fireflies, fields and an onsen. Our neighbours pick wild Warabi when they are grown, pickle radishes when they are ready and sow rice seedlings when spring comes to an end. You will be able to help out with the agricultural work and experience living in the countryside.
I live with my daughter and 3 cats. We live a simple life in a closely knitted community. I used to travel a lot when I was younger and would like to return the flavor I received by offering this chance to couchsurfers. Saredani village is a hidden treasure, I wish more people could stop by and discover more about it.
