ABOUT ME

I would like to meet a lot of people of many countries, and also from Mexico, one of the things I have experienced in Couchsurfing is when I want to travel in my own country the people from here are not interested on meet me, I think is because most of the people like more foreign people, but mexican's can couchsurf mexican's, don't be "malinchistas".

Soy etnomusicóloga de profesión y vocación, amo lo que hago. Me encanta la música, soy pianista y también amo el baile, sé un poco de tango pero realmente bailo de todo. Soy mitad japonesa y creo que la mezcla de la cultura mexicana con la japonesa es increíble.
Me encanta visitar lugares poco conocidos o poco frecuentados. Me encanta cocinar y estar con mis amigos en una noche bohemia con música y largas conversaciones sobre todo.

I love music, and enjoy good topics. I love to dance. I'm half japanese, and think the mix of mexican and japanese cultures is amazing. I like to visit uncommon pubs/restaurants/bars/fonditas, try not to go where everyone else is going, create our own flow, at least try. I love to cook, hang out with my friends.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I try to take our surfers for a ride in town, as much as possible. Show my favorite places, or take them to friends parties. Also I enjoy a day in the house, nice dinner, talk and laughs.

1.- Maxime Bonan; from france, was visiting west coast, wanted to see Mexico. Hosted him for 3 days. He was very nice to talk to. Enjoyed his company, he knows a lot of movies and his topic themes where very nice.

2.- Roberto Babini; from italy, visiting the west coast, wanted to see Mexico. Hosted him for 4 days. Awesome guy, very funny, we have lots of remembers with him.

3. José: José stayed with me and he was a great guy, he traveled with his dog.

兴趣

My interests are not always the same, I believe that I am a very adaptable person; I can have many very diferent conversations. Most of the time I like to hang out outside, but I also like to enjoy a nice chat or nice dinner indoors. I love to know people, to talk, enjoy a good talk (speaking and remaining quiet). I love to be in different activities whenever i'm with people. A lot of the Ethnomusicology interests me, for which the next year I will be of exchange in the Distrito Federal to expand my know-how in this field. The Mexican Culture Interests me, I know that this is my culture but there is nothing more marvelous in this world that to know your own land, its music, its people, the marvelous thing that is this country, it's "populachero" (common). I'm interest a lot on the liberal arts, such you see after finishing my carrer, I could have some vision to study some carrer of liberal arts.

I like a lot of movies, is better if they are independent, known as "art films". I love Wong Kar Wai

A lot of music, something to make me dance. To many soundtracks of good movies.

I like reading antropologic books and the ones that talk about mexican culture. And poetry.

I can teach you how to make mexican food or a little bit of japanese food...
We can share music :) I play a little bit of Son Jarocho and some other music's.
