Overview
About Me
This guy hopes to live till 100, wonders how to make my fast eating habit into a career, and likes my black tea with lots of milk.
I'm recently graduated from University of British Columbia at Vancouver, Canada. Will start working from September, and exploring around Asia for the summer!
Born in Japan, lived in US for 6 years, moved to Vancouver for university, and sipping miso soup for twenty something years.
Haven't asked yet but my friends will probably describe me as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBk0P27QGmc
I talk to computers during the day and reads non-fiction at night
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people outside of my social bubble! I've met amazing people in my life through this platform, and hope to see you reading this too!
More I travel through CS, the more inspired I become from meeting people who have traveled everywhere around the world, and more I travel as a result. It's an endless positive loop hahaha
While being a student I'll be mainly using the platform as a surfer. When I get my own place and settle down a bit, I hope to give back to the community that has given me so much already.
Interests
tbh if you are into trying exotic food, computer stuff, taking five with green tea, hiking, or running or we'll most likely get along well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I volunteered at five different organic farms for four months in summer of 2015 through World Wide Opportunities for Organic Farming. (https://wwoofusa.org/) on my own around South Washington and Portland area! Waking up at 7 everyday to feed chickens and planting corns all day was definitely one of a kind experience haha. The coolest part was definitely when I met Gary - 60 years old nudist ninja (no joke) who was also a former marine / cook / stripper / adult film star / national competitive road bike racer. Do ask me about Gary.
and this one other time I made a really great naan from scratch.
Teach, Learn, Share
Netflix's Chef's Table show was the easier ever to finish the show in couple days, and the fact that I binge watch cooking videos on YouTube is a secret between you and me. Share with me all the amazing recipes you have, and I'll make my secret mushroom veggie cream pasta upon request.
