About Me

I’m just a guy from Berlin who loves to laugh and make other people laugh :)

I am also quite political and love to discuss everything going on in the society. It is coupled with a sense of empathy and justice, so you can count on a resolute opinion. In the same time I am always open for the other person's viewpoint and just to listen to your stories - that's the way we learn, right?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The reason I'm here is to get to know a new place more profoundly, through the people who are living there. To discover how diverse we are but also to see things that are connecting us. My dream is to travel Europe, literally from Gibraltar to Finland. I am also determined to learn French, so next stop: France*

or Belgium!

Interests

Right now I'm studying at university so I wish that one day would consist of 48 hours to have enough time to my hobbies, namely - languages, travelling, nature, literature, history, politics and many more.

  • literature
  • human rights
  • politics
  • traveling
  • history
  • languages
  • eastern europe
  • european union

Music, Movies, and Books

While first I have read some classics that gave me enormous takeaway about freedom, love and friendship, the most eye-opening book was "Why Nations Fail" for me. It gave me hope that one day the whole humanity will enjoy the fruits of progress provided their institutions are promoting equality and verified my belief that there are no right or wrong culture or religion because the institutions are what really matters for a society that is able to take care of all its members.
I'm quite choosy when it comes to films, I rather read. Though, if I watch a really good movie I'm under it's impact for days.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first night in a techno club in Berlin and being the last one on the stage still dancing at 7 AM. It sounds profane and not a big deal but that night had a more profound meaning for me about a new life, freedom, and finding yourself.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook you Hungarian Goulash. No-one has ever complained.. or everyone was just too polite :)
