About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Work Hard, Travel Harder, Be Safe, and never forget who you are

ABOUT ME

http://www.atulrandev.com
I come from India, I'm a student here at HEC Paris.

Besides everything standard- I write stories, I play a little guitar and I like clicking pictures :)

I love to travel, and indeed, the inspiration can be seen in everything I create.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything is changing every second - us as well - sub-consciously perhaps. My perspective on life and happiness has changed a lot over the past few years as I've moved closer to my thirties. These days - I get my digs from trying to excel at most things I do - from my stories to my work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To see interesting places and met interesting people.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

This is best answered over a cup of coffee- i'm a fantasy buff, a leap over to Ayn Rand, Jeff Arch, Ken Follet and Paul Auster, Rohinton Mistry. Loads of others , but these before them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Allahabad during the madness of the Kumbh, Tosh during the gorgeous spring, drove for 1500 kms thru Himachal on me bike and loved every moment of it (well, maybe not every moment), I was on a trek during the Flash floods in Uttarakhand in 2013 n got trapped over there- so yeah saw some pretty crazy stuff then as well .

Teach, Learn, Share

The toughest thing a guy can learn to do is to let go (of the little things, or the big things, or whatever), and traveling gives you the perspective to be able to do that. I'm working on it, and am always willing to help anyone out with it. Talk to me, and I'll make a traveler out of you, but if you are here reading this - maybe you already are.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Interesting tips on Indian cuisine, Book advice, interesting conversation, a decent drinking companion, and a friend for life.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland
