I am an Entrepreneur, an unorthodox traveler, love to meet new people and share along stories (a great listener btw).

As for my profile, I have been wearing multiple hats since graduating from college.

I started my career as Mine Geologist in DR Congo after completing my Integrated Master's degree in Applied Geology from Indian Institute of Technology - Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad.

Later I started my entrepreneurial journey with Education Alley (and education search portal, focusing on helping students to find the right fit in terms of both career and institutes). As my journey progressed, I took effort in generalizing the co-working spaces to be available on-demand basis. Meanwhile, I consulted for Top Business Incubators in India (Amrita TBI) and worked with policy makers for startup policy inputs.

Currently, I am working on taking the spirit of entrepreneurship to small cities and thus supporting the innovations and entrepreneurs at root level with help of my new venture CityInCube.

An avid fan of cricket, I am a travel enthusiast and love the long walks outdoors and a trip around the less crowded parts of the city, to explore the unexplored.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As i love to meet new people, and liked the idea of sharing the space while saving the cost of travelling, I hosted and helped few travelers when they were visiting Varanasi.

Now I am planning my visit to UK, to meet and interact with various stakeholders of Startup Ecosystem in UK. As part of same, I will be visiting Oxford University, Cass Business School and other entrepreneurship centers and communities. Will be glad if I can meet local people there who can host me and help me with connecting to such people in their network.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taking the risk to leave the job and follow the guts to do something of my own. It's been 3 years and am enjoying every moment of it, the journey is still on and hope it stays adventurous and I keep learning till the end.
