I am a rather curious person. I enjoy reading, learning, watching movies, and things of that sort, but I also need a bit of adventure in my life, and fill much of that with outdoor activities and traveling. Most of all I like meeting people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed a couple of times in Spain. I won't be traveling again for a while, but I am hoping to host some people in Houston, Texas!

Interests

I love traveling, reading, coffee shops, movies and music. I am also interested in religion, history, psychology and sociology. I recently picked up photography as a bit of a hobby, as well as writing. Health is important to me; I like trying new food and hole-in-the-wall restaurants. Of course I try some cooking at home, though some of my endeavors are certainly more successful than others. Personal development is important to me, and I am always open to new ideas and explorations!

My adventurous side loves snowboarding, mountain biking, rafting, camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, sand volleyball, football, and anything else that gives me a rush while keeping the risk of death relatively low. A new found interest is swing dancing.

My favorite movies include Crash, Love Actually, The Dark Knight, The Social Network, Departed, Garden State, 500 Days of Summer, Gladiator, and I Love You Man.

HARRY POTTER!!!! Yes, I am a bit of a sucker for fantasy stories. I have recently read The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns and really enjoyed them..I also like Malcolm Gladwell and Michael Pollan.
