Hello friends out there!

I am Jan, a young professional in the finance sector. I love to explore the world and to share thoughts and experiences with open-minded and interesting people. Thats why I studied at five different universities (USA (1), Germany (2) and Italy(2)) and try to travel whenever I get the chance to.

Besides travelling I like to do almost all kind of sports (or at least try them). I enjoy reading once in a while and I like to meet up with friends for drinks and good talks, plus I am a big foody.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I used couchsurfing the first time last summer when me and my girlfriend were travelling through the United States. We kept tons of fantastic memories but thinking back the couch surfing experiences remain to be the most vivid ones. We really connected to the people who hosted us, had great talks and felt a great sense of hospitality. Hence I want to give something back. And since now my living situation allows it: I am curious how it is to not only travel but host surfers from around the world!

Intereses

Traveling: To meet new people, to visit new places, to understand other cultures and to better connect to the world around me. Currently I am learning Spanish.
Sports: Badminton, Ping Pong, Racket Ball, Beach Volleyball, Swimming, Running Hiking, Gym... And most recently: Kick Boxing
Food- and drinks: (almost) all kinds of!
