I grew up on a farm in rural Australia as a 3rd child of four. So naturally I can be a bit cheeky. I had good manners beat into me by my older brothers (really did not enjoy petrol pumps or red skins..) and learnt to fear a woman's cunning from my younger sister complaints coupled with my mothers broom. I can be rather reserved initially until I get a sense of what is acceptable/ what the mood of the situation is. I'd consider myself a bit of a social chameleon or rather if we were pretending I was a condiment and you wanted to know what I brought to your toast, I would be butter. I go well with almost anything (except high cholesterol), I can blend into most crowds and am fairly affable. Obviously, I would prefer to be Nutella and maybe you'd prefer it if I was to but we cant have everything, hey! No room for condimentism!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I recently finished my degree and before pursuing career work or further study i'd like to work on myself a bit. They say solo travel opens you up to what life has to offer/ makes you more spontaneous. That's my end game, to become more 'cultured', make some great friends and rediscover that sense of adventure that seems to be exclusively reserved for Hobbits.

I am also looking to write a short impromptu book and figure Europe is an excuse to not be hassled about finding a good job.

Im pretty disgusting when it comes to music. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy it but I never write anything down. Ill latch onto one song and slam it on repeat for weeks until something else tickles my fancy. Ill try not to subject you to it! Some that I can remember...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing! Phaw...I once went on a road trip with someone who I figured hated me/ had known for an hour and another collection of travelers I was yet to meet. This required me to book flights to Sydney to get to the Van I wasnt sure would show up. Yeah it's probably not amazing but hey it was a fair risk and the reward was a few good friends and a great week sleeping on beaches!
