ABOUT ME
I'm an explorer, willing to discover the world and the incredible diversity of the universe... I'm a philosopher, willing to understand the magical mystery of life itself... I'm a singer, willing to sing the song of my own reality... I'm a painter, willing to paint my future filled with possibilities... I'm an idealist, willing to be the change in the world I want to see... I'm a human being, willing to feel nature in all it's elements... I'm a lover, willing to love and to be loved... But besides all that, I'm also a very normal openminded girl, with a great interest in adventures, traveling, cultures, religions, meeting new people, being in nature and discovering new opportunities to be happy and to enjoy life in all it's ways!
PHILOSOPHY
I have lots of philosophies that I'm interested in, as long as it helps to create a better and positive world. I'm trying to be positive as much as I can, just in small things in life. It makes me and the people around me more happy and confident. I try to enjoy life in all its ways, giving love and being loved. That gives a strong will to discover more and that's why I'm hungry for traveling!
Interests
I love to discover the world, people, cultures, religions, nature and what's happening around me. I want to travel as much as I can, to meet new people and new worlds.
I like to read, write, make music, being outside in nature, making fire, cooking, having fun, making long walks at the beach, thinking, learning, exploring... Having good conversations with interesting people... I love making art, being with children, singing and to inspire people just by having fun in life. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Into the wild, Amélie, L'auberge Espagnol, Crusade in Jeans, Forest Gump, The Motorcycle Dairies, Rabbit Proof Fence, Frida, Angela's Ashes, Once and a lot I don't remember the name of... I prefer non-commercial movies, but ofcourse Shrek is one of them you can't miss :)
Music:
Some of my favorite artists among others are Natasha Atlas, Elbow, Bob Schneider, Zulu 9.30, Damien Rice, Manu Chao, Phillip Glass, Andrew Bird, Nirvana, The Frames, Eels, Nancy Ajram, Sinead O'connor, Guillemots, Stateless, Jackson Brown, Incubus, Bright Eyes, Oum Kalthoum, Patrick Watson, the Beatles etc. I'm sure I forget a lot right now, but I like all kinds of music. Especially a mix of worldmusic, folk, rock, reggae etc.
Books:
I prefer historical romans and philosophies about the world and people. I'm really inspired by Kahlil Gibran who has wonderful stories about life. I also love the childrens stories of Toon Tellegen, a dutch author who wrote a lot of simple stories about animals, but with a real warm and surprising philosophical underlayer. If I'm feeling down I read one of his stories, it really gives me new energy!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've seen a lot of amazing things in my dreams... and in real? So many things more... I've seen beautiful nature and landscapes in different countries as well as in my own garden... Oh, and twice a year I have this fire-music-ritual-weekend with a lot of people in a camp-house in Holland, and we have this ritual that everyone jumps into the water at midnight, no matter what time of the year... Grazy, but amazing! :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn more about different cultures and religions, about (veg.) cooking, nature, philosophy, spirituality, buddhism, Islam, sustainable living, traveling... I think traveling itself is already the most exciting experience life has to offer.
I also want to know more about dancing and body movement like yoga, permaculture and sustainability, skills and crafts from different parts of the world and I would love to develop my music skills.
I'm trying to learn some Spanish and I really want to improve my Arabic, so I can communicate with my husbands family :)
