About Me
I am...
A responsible carefree individual that lives to explore, learn, and share.
A lover of outdoors, community and conciousness living.
A hard worker after deciding to retire after years of self- employment as a tradesman.
Honest, capable, and open-communicator.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling has become my preferred lifestyle, and my greatest teacher.
I had lived in Alaska for 8 years, when I experienced an awakening that led me to dispossess myself of nearly all my possessions, and hit the road. That was in march 2012.
Since then I have spent time in Hawaii, much of the western US, and lately rediscovering the eastern side.
This is my first time creating a profile on this site, however couch-surfing on friends couches (and friends of friends) has allowed for enjoyable and easier traveling.
Interests
Outside stuff like: hiking, camping, foraging, skiing, and watching the sky.
Permaculture stuff like: growing plants, natural-building techniques, and living intentionaly in community.
I enjoy yoga (it changed my life), am looking to learn more chi gong, and massage techniques.
I enjoy cooking, and surprisingly I now enjoy doing dishes (hot running water is an amazing luxury).
