Hi couchsurfers! I am a 28 yr old (soon to be 29) who currently lives in DC but is not of DC. I grew up mostly on the West Coast/in the Mountain West.

I love being outside, reading, drinking tea, playing games, exploring, being by the ocean, going to museums, listening to live music and making pottery.

I got my degree in 2009 and promptly went off to do a thousand things.

I taught organic gardening techniques to youth programs in a community garden and interned for city sustainability programs.

Then I did AmeriCorps and served for 2 years at a neighborhood organizing non-profit in Walla Walla Washington.

After that I was the executive assistant at a non-profit assisting people with felonies to transition successfully back into their communities.

Now I've gone back to school to make games using my social science background to make complex social systems more transparent to the public as well as to learn about human behavior from games.

As a couch surfer I'm excited to meet my future hosts and learn about their cities/towns/countries and cultures. I'll try any food and listen to any music at least once.

However that being said I need my alone time as much as anyone and am sensitive to your needs to have privacy and am unafraid to spend time out on my own.

I am comfortable with drinking and caffeine etc but won't partake in your home unless you are specifically ok with that.
