Overview
About Me
I am an easy-going, laid back lover of travel and our Earth’s natural beauty. My vocation and calling is to help lift others out of the pain and suffering of addiction. It’s tough work, but incredibly rewarding. Traveling is one of the ways I rejuvenate and recalibrate and treat myself. It is a passion all of its own.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to connect with locals wherever I go! I feel one can get a more authentic experience this way. I try to stay off the "tourist path". True, some may say I'm a tourist, too, but I try to be more of a traveler. To take in and try and understand the place I'm visiting, even if Im only scratching the surface due to the short stay. I crave authentic experience. I love connecting with locals because I feel that's how one truly learns. Also, locals know all the best tips, tourist traps to avoid, and just getting to know another from a totally different walk of life benefits both.
