ABOUT ME
I've never been very good at writing about myself. Mike says I should just put "awesome!" and leave it at that. I'll give a bit more of an attempt. I'm outgoing and energetic (sometimes too much so). I'm open-minded and independent. A little goofy, but in a good way (I hope).
I want to see and do everything - I have a long way to go, but I'm still young.
PHILOSOPHY
Enjoy every single moment. Really LIVE - you don't know how long you have.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Every way I can!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Mike and I couchsurfed our way through several countries in Europe and had nothing but wonderful experiences. We met amazing people who welcomed us into their homes and showed us around their fantastic cities! We've also hosted a few people and hope to host many more. I've only attended one couchsurfing gathering so far (in Madrid), but it was great fun and hope to do more of that as well.
Interests
I adore spending time with my sisters - they're my two very favorite people. My boyfriend, Mike, is pretty nice too. I read too much. I love to cook and listen to music. If I lived anywhere else, I'd probably spend more time outside, but most of the year it's just too hot in Texas. I like rock climbing and white water rafting. I'm slightly addicted to tattoos... I hope to be completely covered when I'm old and wrinkly. I love to meet new and interesting people (this seems like an amazing way to do that). I'll try almost anything at least once. I still need to bungee jump, but that snap looks a bit uncomfortable.

Music, Movies, and Books
oh books... I love them all. I am on a bit of a Terry Pratchett kick right now. The movies and music I like depend greatly on what I'm in the mood for.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There's something every day that leaves me awestruck - the world is an incredible place. I still have a whole lot to see, but Colorado's Great Sand Dunes are phenomenal. I didn't expect to find sand dunes in the middle of the mountains and they're huge! Photos won't do them justice, but I'll put some up just the same.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn languages! All of them. That may be ever-so-slightly unrealistic... especially since I've never had a knack for them. Although, in my defense, public school doesn't do a very good job of teaching this... my high school spanish teacher had a thick southern accent.
