About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I really want to learn other languages and cultures through reality instead of purely through books. I want my life to be an adventure in which I make real connections with people and actually feel like a citizen of the world.
ABOUT ME
Well I was born into a military family, and at the age of 6 we moved out of our florida home and were stationed in La Maddalena, ITALY!! I thought it was awesome and my love for traveling began. We stayed there for 3 years and I learned a lot (sadly I was so stubborn I refused to learn Italian...what was I thinking!!!) Anyhow....I loved living overseas and experiencing new things, I'm way older now and have nearly mastered my French so hopefully that'll help me out in my travels. I'm pretty bad at talking about myself so I'll just say i'm funny, fun, love to meet new people, and I'm almost always down to go out and have a good time with friends.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in always being open minded and ready for new things so that i can experience all that life possibly has in store for me. Remember: The world ends with you, so make sure you keep going out into it as far as you can.

Music, Movies, and Books
Musically I like that not-so-stellar pop that is constantly playing on the radio in the US purely because it reminds me of home and all of the people that I haven't seen back there in a while. Beyond that I really like R&B/Soul music, Hip-Hop/Rap, Reggae. I'll give any type of music a chance but I can't guarantee that I'll love it.
In the realm of books I have and always will love the Harry Potter series but nowadays I find myself reading reading funny autobiographies like Aisha Tyler's "Self-Inflicted Wounds" or nerdy semi-apocalyptic fiction like "Ready Player One" by Ernest Cline. I highly recommend both of them!
I'll watch pretty much any movie you give me as long as it's not mindless gore/horror. If I've never seen it we won't have a problem, but if I have you'll probably hate me by the end of the movie because I can't help talking a bit throughout the whole thing.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Right now, the most amazing thing that I've done is climb a peak of the Pyrenees Mountains near the border of Spain and France. I went with a wonderful french host family and we spent two days and 1 night in the mountain range. Reaching the top and looking down and seeing all of the natural beauty made all of the hard work and blisters worthwhile.
