COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i've had some great couchsurfing experiences and one absolutely terrible one. i've lost a lot of faith in cs since, and i'm a lot more careful about who i surf with and allow into my house. i still think cs can be great, but i think we've got a lot of work to do, as a community, before this place is as safe as it can be.

i kicked off my sandals and climbed barefoot down the side of the grand canyon to get to a butte a few hundred meters out from the normal view point - all so i could get the view worth having. it was beautiful, and fully worth the twisted wrist.
