ABOUT ME

I'm open-minded, outgoing, curious and like to talk about everything! My hobbies are travelling - of course! - and also sports like playing roller derby, diving or hiking.
After working 3 years in a consulting agency in Germany, I felt the need to see and experience a bit more of this world... so I quit my job and left for a six-months trip throughout South America! Then I lived and worked in Australia for almost 2 years. On my way back to Europe, I made a stop over in South Thaïland for a three-months volunteering project.
From 2012 until 2015, I've been working hard in Paris. Then I moved to Grenoble, seeking for a new environment and healthier lifestyle. Since then, I'm living and working in Romans-sur-Isère for 1083, a french start-up that produces eco-friendly jeans & sneakers ;-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

in Colombia & Venezuela... that was awesome! I had also a lot of great "improvised" couchsurfing, for example in Biesczady in South Polen: I stayed a night by woodmen because the only two hostels were already cram-full; or in Taormina in Sicily: I spent four nights more simply because I met very nice people at a diving center!
I also had a great pleasure to welcome an australian friend on my couch in Germany. I met him in Slovakia couple of months before, and he turned up just before Xmas, nice surprise! ;-)

I like mostly comedy or autobiography/real stories with historical, political background. My favourite movies are for example Hotel Rwanda, Good Bye Lenin or Diarios de motocicleta.
Books: the Long Walk to Freedom, Nelson Mandela; The Fountainhead, Ayn Rand; No Logo, Naomi Klein...
Music is more various: rock, jazz, funk, soul, dub/reggae, ragga, trip hop, electro.. and of course a penchant for some french artists!

paragliding above the Annecy lake (France), climbing the 5.120m high vulcan Iliniza Norte with a swiss guy in front of the Cotopaxi (Ecuador), getting lost in a giant natural palm grove in the near of Essaouira (Morocco), driving through the amazing desert of Sur Lipez with my best friend (Bolivia), sailing and swimming around Whitehaven Beach in the Whitsundays (Australia) and in general the feeling of beeing in harmony with nature...

I love to learn, I love to share but I don't know if I'm able to teach something... I should think about it! oh yes, I can teach some basics in French, German and English.
I can also tell you about french cuisine, wine and cheeses because I'm passionate!!!
