About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy life, overcome all my fears and make a positive difference
ABOUT ME
I'm a curious and ambitious entrepreneur who loves discovering the world and learning about people. It's the main side I love about business, not the mercantile aspect, but the psychological aspect of understanding who you're helping, what he or she wants to better enjoy life. Yes, delivering value in creative ways is really exciting to me. And a big part of that is moving around the world to get a better feel of what is needed and how I can contribute.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm 27 so my philosophy will change many times still. I'm exploring and reading books now, I'm fueled by a strong curiosity to develop my spirituality. A classic, "The Power of Now", has made me see things differently. Now I seek to be more present, accept things as they are, dissociate from pain, differentiate from my ego, from the polarities of good and bad it creates and see things as situations that I can only accept and enjoy to the fullest. Not base myself on my past and expect salvation in the future, because the future is never there. All we have is the present moment and it is the only thing that can provide me happiness, wherever I am in the world. I'm also vegetarian now, and it is part of trying to have a "global" perspective on things. We must not only see the benefits we get, we must consider environmental and social costs related to our selfish actions. The environment is all we have, it is the air we breather, what we eat and ultimately, what we are. If our environment is sick, we get sick too. It is not about being "treehuggers" and loving polar bears, it's way more than that, it's our story too and nature will give us a lesson if we don't try to guess the answers sooner.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well although I'm really busy, I have decided to be more active to this beautiful project. I have a nice open loft in Boston. I host a few this summer and meeting people I would not have had the chance to meet otherwise is really cool...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed 2 times and hosted 2 couchsurfers. I'm still new to it but being social, open and respectful is an essential base so the rest will be bonuses :)
Interests
Oh, I love so many things, wished I could have a couple lives. I could have been a dancer, I love music so I could have expressed my artistic side. I could have been a philosopher, I love writing, thiking, re-thiking, asking questions and discuss. I have done many debate competitions and it was always a lot of fun. I would have been a photographer for National Geographic and travel all over the world, live with animals, which I love. But for now, I'm focusing on my passion for entrepreneurship, this idea of building new things with great people. There is a really big "human" component to business if you have good values. I'm currently working on a web-based projet which mission is to support philanthropy. You'll ear about it soon :) And I looovvee to eat, to cook, to try new things, I've always been active (I work out, yoga, running, ahh this feel-good vibe after an intense workout is amazing!) and I could go on but life is short so we'll discuss it in person, soon.

Music, Movies, and Books
Many things but TED.com is an amazing resource to educate ourselves. Steve Blank's blog is really good too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The first time I took the plane, it was a small cesna and I jumped out of it, yes, I did skydiving on my first ride on a plane! It seemed like a good solution to get ride of any fears I had.
Teach, Learn, Share
What could I teach you... When I was younger, I thought the saying "If you want it, you can!" was pretty cheasy. It is not. During all my teenage years, I wished and visualize many things, projects I wanted to develop, people I wanted to collaborate with, context I wanted to be in. I prayed, I gave energies to my dreams and I believed I had everything it took to get there. And today, looking at what is happening in my life, I realize that having dreams is really powerful. But you have to cherish them and truly believe they are attainable. Don't be shy if you're dreams sounds "too" ambitious, it is not, we deserve all of this. It is time to have fun and I find it is so sad so many people accept being unhappy on a constant basis. Quit, leave, make room for change and it will happen if you know and believe that you deserve it.
