About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Tame uncertainty

ABOUT ME

* Curious, openminded, relaxed and laid-down, tolerant, social chameleon, people oriented, reflexive, silent observer, talkative, hard to read through (so they say)

* Involved socially & personally to make this world a nice place

*Loves: Randomness, theories, analyzing behaviours, discussions, hanging out with no precise goal, being surprised, my family, simple life pleasures: warm shower & sight of the sun..., sushi, eating ice cream, hiking, singing in my car, dancing, getting lost in a city, hugs.

*Hates: closemindedness, mushrooms & squishy foods, judgmentalism, loneliness, rejection of people and ideas, intolerance, indifference, ignorance, lack of willpower.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have first surfed on a Eurotrip in 2009, and I'm now being a host, having my own place to live in. I'm trying to be an ambassador of my home country by sharing with people & exchanging.
At the same time I try learning the most I can from my hosts & their background / culture.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some are amazeballz, some are bad. C'est la vie. As a host, expect me to choose who I want to welcome in my home. Show that you have read my profile and that you chose ME, not that your spammed me. That means: matching interests, experiences, topics to share... Anything! My profile provides more than enough information I believe. If so, chances are I'll say yes.

Also, keep in mind that an empty profile, or one that doesn't tell me much about who you are is likely to turn into a no. I'm putting effort in receiving you, what about putting effort in letting me know who you are? :) I also once was new at CS, and understand we all start somewhere. Keep it in mind.

Music, Movies, and Books

MOVIES
I honestly don't really enjoy spending time in front of a screen, hence my general culture of movies and series is REALLY BAD. That being said, I don't mind people talking to me about it. Just don't expect me to be able to feed the convo. ;)
- That being said... I love Almodovar movies!

MUSIC
Musics of the worlds. Please make me discover new stuff!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

*I kayaked in the Fundy Bay tides (Nova-Scotia, Canada), highest tides of the world!
* I lived 2 months in the Rockies when I was 18.
* Learned to windsurf in the Czech Republic (Czechia!)
* Left a job I disliked a lot, bought a plane ticket and left 4 hours later!
* Went on a 3-day hike in the mountains of Myanmar, slept in locals' homes
