Overview
About Me
I love travelling, gardening, music, cooking, hiking, nature and making new friends. At home in Australia I work in urban farming and community development projects and teach people how to grow their own food. My partner Nick and I are cycling from Macedonia, Bulgaria, Turkey and Georgia for 2 months and would like to meet locals along the way, make new friends and share stories!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To make new friends while travelling and get to know locals so I can learn about the countries I visit in a deeper way. I think it is a beautiful thing to exchange smiles, skills, experiences and friendship rather than money.

Music, Movies, and Books
Any music with a great beat, bass and moving melodies. Electronic, folk music and pretty much any music with piano accordion in it! (I am learning to play the accordion too). I love to read anything from sci-fi and fantasy novels, to travel adventures, ecology and permaculture books, philosophy and poetry.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Built and lived in a beautiful treehouse in a wind-swept mountain valley in Australia.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share knowledge and skills relating to permaculture, organic farming, food forests, herbal medicine, community development, Australian travel tips, cooking, fermenting. I love to cook for people and would love to share nourishing home-made meals with new friends. I can teach a few basic songs on the piano accordion and can give English lessons. I want to learn about Macedonian culture and history as my grandfather is Macedonian and this is my first time travelling here. I'm very interested in the history and culture, especially learning about traditional folk stories and medicinal plants of the region.
