Overview
About Me
My name is Audrey and I grew up in Singapore. I am studying to be a teacher to primary school kids, those little monsters. :D I enjoy trying new things, meeting new people and love to be excited by all the wonders that life has to offer. I want to go on adventures and meet new people, go wild really. :)
I know my profile is very bare right now, no references and what not but trust me, whatever I put here is true, even that profile picture. I did not rip it off the internet. Haha. if you are wondering. :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on CS so that I can meet new people. My home is not up for couch surfers because I still live with my family and they don't approve. Maybe when I get my own place or something. I am open to meeting up for lunch or dinner though so if you would like company, I will be happy to join you.
I do hope that I will be able to join others on their couch though when I am overseas. Make a few friends, hang out, exchange experiences.
Interests
I like doing sports such as floorball and dance. I am not so good at those yet but hoping to improve with time. I absolutely love watching TV series such as Bones, Criminal Minds, The Mentalist, Modern Family and the list goes one but those are my favourites!
I like travelling too through I haven't been to that many places but we all have to start somewhere right? I enjoy sightseeing and just taking in the beauty that country has to offer. I am not quite the shopper hence my rather limited outfits. Haha.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Taylor Swift though not the crazy fan type. I just think her songs are nice and catchy. Other than TS, I don't really listen to other artists much.
I like movies by Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston the best. If they are in a movie, you can count on me being in line to buy tickets. I like Pitch Perfect too, all the talent and singing. Really good!
I won't consider myself an avid reader but I am trying to read more. I just read The Hunger Games. Interesting but the idea of entertainment by bludgeoning people to death is just kinda twisted if you ask me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I haven't really done much yet. That's why I am hoping to travel more and perhaps add to this list on the way.
Teach, Learn, Share
OH! I can teach you Singlish! That's like taking English and mashing it up with the Singaporean culture.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can bring some local food from Singapore but apart from that not too much on the food side. I can't cook local dishes. I usually depend on my mum for that. I can try though if you are willing to be the guinea pigs to my attempts. I would love share stories and hear yours too! Tell me your life story over a cup of coffee!!
It is kind of you to consider sharing your house with me so I make it a promise to myself to keep the area you have lent me clean. If you need, I would gladly help out around the house. Perhaps walk the dog (I'll make sure I pick up its poopy too, HAHA.) or something.
