I'm 18 years old and I lived in France and New Caledonia. Now I'm leaving Nouméa to go studying in France and I have some months of gap year before University.

I lived some years in Pacific during my teenage, and I met many people who had travelled: they are often very openminded, very interesting. I really want to discover new countries, and new places. Couchsurfing gives a wonderful opportunity to discover the world and, after all, to meet new people, new culture. I want to see how people live elsewhere, to exchange with them.

I love literature, cinema and History, and I love writing. I'm very interested in Russian culture. I am not an amazing cooker but I like cooking to please.

My favorite authors are Tolstoï, Milan Kundera and Jane Austen. I was fascinated by War and Peace when I discovered this novel. I also like St Exupery, Isabel Allende or Edith Wharton.
I listen all type of music. About movies, I love historical films and I enjoy art house cinema, but I am good public! Some of the movies that I love a lot are Goodbye Lenin! , the best of youth, Doctor Jivago, Nightmare before Christmas...

It was really amazing walking in a city where I knew nobody, where I felt adult and free, going in the museum, shopping, taking the tram, getting lost ...
