I recently finished my undergrad and now I do marketing for my parent's home remodeling company. In my downtime, I love to spend time in the backyard with my chickens, go out for beer with my friends, or go for a hike. I'm easy going and like to meet different people and hear about their travel experiences. I am eager to move out of my hometown and have new adventures in a different area of the US. My friend, Pauline, and I are planning on moving together in the next few months and we are excited for our next trip to see what area we would like to move to!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My best friend and I are ready to fly the coop! We both graduated from undergraduate a year (or 2) ago and are ready to explore the States. We are both SC natives and want to see, and hopefully move, to the West Coast! I used couchsurfing while studying abroad in France and getting to know people in different places really changed the experience for me. We are planning a trip to visit different parts of California and Colorado and would love to get a feel for the city through meeting different people and Couchsurfers!

Interests

-trying new recipes (or making up new recipes and paying the consequences later haha) and eating good food

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music changes often, but its of the indie/alternative/folk rock, motown oldies, and jazz varities. My favorite songs this week are "Green Light" by Lorde, "Castle on the Hill" by Ed Sheeran, and "My Church" by Maren Morris.

Top 5 movies are- La La Land, Slumdog Millionaire, Les Choristes, La Vita è Bella, and Johnny Stecchino. I love watching lots of different of movies especially foreign, drama, comedy, and action films.

I'm oddly fascinated in reading business startup novels as of lately, but my other recent reads are "3 Cups of Tea", "Catch 22", and "Bosseypants".
